In Portugal, after filing taxes online using the official portal, the following chart is shown on the filing confirmation page. No matter how one feels about giving money to the government, or the size of the government, or having government at all, I think most would agree that the bare minimum any government ought to do after you, the average working stiff, have so generously given over your money, is to show you how the government spends it.

Wonder how many municipalities do this. My guess is not many. I suspect it would cause a considerable amount of consternation amongst the general public (thinking of a certain republic of states).
